Renewable Energy

Renewable energy refers to energy derived from natural processes that are replenished at a faster rate than they are consumed. This type of energy is sourced from resources that are virtually inexhaustible over human timescales. Common forms of renewable energy include solar energy (from sunlight), wind energy (from wind currents), hydroelectric energy (from flowing water), biomass (organic materials), and geothermal energy (from Earth’s internal heat). The primary advantage of renewable energy is its potential to reduce carbon emissions and mitigate climate change, as it produces little to no greenhouse gases compared to fossil fuels. Additionally, renewable energy contributes to energy security by decreasing reliance on imported fuels and can promote sustainable economic growth through job creation in emerging energy sectors.
